A new beginning

Hello, I am Hana. I am 17 years old.
Today is 27th April 2022, and our new school session has just begun.

This year feels special because I’ve stepped into Class 11 and chosen the Commerce stream. A new class, new subjects, new faces, and of course… new beginnings.

In my mind, I could already picture everything — walking into my new classroom, meeting new faces, and maybe even someone special who might change my life forever.

I imagined myself confidently stepping inside, everyone looking at me curiously, a mysterious boy sitting by the window… and then—

“Hana! Get up, or you’ll be late for school!”

I opened my eyes suddenly. It was just a dream. My mother was standing by the door, holding my uniform.

“First day of 11th and you’re still dreaming?” she said, shaking her head with a smile.

I sighed and sat up, my heart still racing. Maybe it was only a dream… or maybe it was a sign of what was about to come.
